Following his emotional celebration following Everton's crucial win over his former club on Sunday, Frank Lampard begged with Chelsea fans to show some understanding.


Burnley's win against Watford had pushed Lampard's ailing side further deeper into the relegation zone, and the Toffees began the day staring down the barrel.


Despite their precarious condition, Everton put in a valiant performance and were well deserving the lead they earned when Richarlison capitalized on a Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta blunder early in the second half.
