Since arriving from Ajax, Donny van de Beek says he has quickly established an understanding with his Manchester United teammates.
In August, Van de Beek, 23, joined United for a fee of £ 40million and made his first Premier League appearance on Sunday at Southampton.
The Netherlands international has already played in the position of playmaker and midfield diamond as a deep-lying midfielder, and last week began successive United Games against Istanbul Basaksehir and Southampton for the first time.
Van de Beek has had an encouraging friendship with fellow playmaker Bruno Fernandes, who emphasized that we know we can play together on the weekend, and enjoys playing with the Portuguese and Edinson Cavani.
'It's all right,' said Van de Beek about playing with Fernandes. I played 8, 10 and even number 6 in Ajax before I played in a lot of different positions: so I'm used to it and I play in a lot of different positions.
As Cavani pushes for a start against former club Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer highlighted the versatility in his squad. In the absence of Anthony Martial, who was unwell, Cavani was United's matchwinner at Southampton, but the Frenchman is fit for PSG's visit.
Despite starting only twice for United and Martial was moved to the wing to accommodate the Uruguayan when he came on against West Brom last month, Cavani has scored more goals than the Frenchman this season.
