People are always searching for information about one thing or another that interests them and they can find your content if you use the right strategies.

Before we discuss how you can start a blog using WordPress.org it is important to understand what WordPress is and how it works.

1.2 What is WordPress.Org

WordPress.org is a WordPress site that is suitable for organizations, companies, individuals among others. It is similar but different from WordPress.com. When creating your WordPress site, you can choose whether to use a WordPress.com, WordPress.org, or a custom domain name. If you are operating a free domain, you can have WordPress.org added to your domain name.

You can also differentiate a WordPress.com from a WordPress.org site by their appearance. WordPress. com often have a faint blue logo and you can find "my site" at the top right side when you log in. It is slightly different from WordPress.org sites that often have a link to the WordPress.org main site.

Some contents need to be in your new blog. These contents are not often changed and they can remain the same because they provide information about the blog to help readers know more. These contents are found in pages devoted to some aspects of the page, about us; contact us, logo among others.

6. Hosting
After choosing a domain name and setting other things in place, you need to host your site so that it can become visible to readers. WordPress allows you to host for free but doing a paid hosting will allow you to have access to some useful blog features that can complement your effort in getting more readers. Your blog becomes hosted automatically after you create it on the WordPress domain.
If you are not going to opt for a paid hosting pan then creating your blog on WordPress will not be a big deal. 

7. Create a blog 
When your wordpress.org site is up you will find many features there that can help you run a successful blog. But not all the features will be needed at first. You will have to set some features in your blog. This includes some important aspects that will make get your blog started.

8. Category
There are tools with which you can create categories for your blog. Categories are very important because it helps you break down your niche into many related areas that readers will like. 10. Link to Social Media

11. Publish Content
When you have linked your blog to your social media handles, and then you should publish your first blog post. 12. Submit for Indexing
After publishing your content or page it is important to submit it for ranking by Google especially if it is intended to reach a wider audience.
